I came across your online advertisement for the teaching position in your school, and would like to apply for the same. I have over 7 years of experience in teaching at the elementary as well as higher level. With a bachelor’s degree in Social science and a diploma in Curriculum & Instruction, I believe I can be the right candidate for the advertised position.
I am currently working at St. Stephen’s High School, handling classes from the third to sixth grade. My teaching style allows me to connect deeply with all students, and understand their basic needs. I encourage creativity and inquisitiveness in children, allowing them to develop a strong and clear understanding of things that are being taught.
I strongly believe that every child is unique with different learning style and capabilities. One of my most challenging tasks was to help a student who had been diagnosed with a learning disability. I sat with him extra hours after school and used creative-interactive mediums that helped him grasp the concepts quickly. He performed exceptionally well in his last semester and I consider this as one of my greatest achievements as a teacher.
I am adept at using the visual and audio mediums to provide training on special subjects. In my present job, I have conducted many such sessions for my students and received great response. I believe learning should be all-round and comprehensive, only then education can yield better value.
My aim is to use my knowledge and creativity to nurture children who need support in terms of learning. My calm and patient nature is an added asset that gives me the ability to deal with students of all age-groups.

I have the ability to break down occasionally complex concepts and simplify them enough for young students, as well as tailor various activities and adopt dynamic teaching methods to maintain the interest of students. My goal has always been to deliver the best quality education without intimidating children, as it is my firm belief that students respond best to educators who are approachable and considerate of their individual temperaments and requirements. I also have significant know-how when it comes to creating and aligning curriculums, organizing teacher meetings, and working alongside administrators.
