Bartender Cover Letter
I am writing this cover letter and attaching my resume in response to your advertisement/ job listing for the bartender position in your pub/nightclub. I believe I am the right candidate for the job since I have been bartending for five years and have the communication skills, dynamic personality, ability to cater to numerous customers without comprising on my quality of service, and last but not least, an in-depth knowledge and passion for the art of bartending.
Bartending is both a craft and a great way to serve people and interact with them, and as such, I enjoy having conversations with regulars, have a knack of putting people at ease when required, and have an affable personality, as told to me by both my previous employer and patrons. At the same time, I am very responsibile and am highly observant. I have never compromised on my accountability when it comes to serving drinks only to those who are of and above the legal drinking age, as well as making sure offenders or ill-mannered customers are kept away from the bar.
Since I am a people person, I also get along well with coworkers. Moreover, I have comprehensive knowledge about alcoholic beverages and prices and always make it a point to update my knowledge base by being innovative and coming up with unique drinks on a regular basis. I always make it a point to manage a bar’s sanitation and safety and ensure that the workstation and equipment are cleaned before closing time.
My experience and familiarity with different situations that surface during bartending have made me hone my problem solving, customer service, decision making, and people skills to a great extent, and I would be eager to get a chance to leverage my skills to contribute positively to your establishment. I am looking forward to meeting you as per your convenience and discussing my eligibility for the position.
