This is in response to the advertisement/job listing with reference to the sales associate position in your company. The job description is something I resonate with taking into consideration my skill sets, qualifications, experience, and career goals. As such, I believe I am the ideal candidate for the position.
I have been a sales associate in the retail sector for seven years and have exceptional organizational and customer service skills, not to mention an eye for detail. During my tenure as a sales associate in a high end clothing boutique, it was my job to offer high quality service to all customers in the form of personalized clothing tips, advice, and suggestions, to answering queries and providing information on membership benefits, store cards, and our exchange and return policies. My ability to meet and exceed client demands is complemented by my relevant qualifications in Retail & Visual Merchandising.
I was also required to maintain accurate and detailed records of budgets, which was a responsibility I handled with efficency. My efforts were rewarded in the form of frequent positive appraisals from my supervisors and store manager.
Apart from the above mentioned tasks, I have also undertaken or overseen:
Up selling
Extensive and efficient client interaction
Helping customers with product or service selection
Training of new staff in customer service management, approaches, and grievance redressal
Payment and receipt of bills and regular management of debit and credit accounts
Processing and restocking merchandise
