For the past 17 years I have been hands on General Manager for various restaurants, sports bar and nightclub. In my experiences working in the hospitality industry I still maintained a salesman objective.
My resume highlights my ability, knowledge and expertise in management. During my time at Alleygators and Victory Grill, I was able to use the resources and knowledge available to me to sustain a growing business. Unfortunately during the poor economy, the business closed for various reasons, which I can discuss further if you have any questions.

Hiring Manager,
I would like to express my interest in the General Manager position you have available in the Washington D.C. location. I have over 17 years of retail management and multi-unit management experience. My background is in operations and guest service in the specialty retail and grocery store industries. I have experience in big box retail/grocery in excess of $30 million and supervising more than 100 associates. Most recently, I have been the Office Manager/HR consultant for a fast growing company responsible for all aspects of the call center, scheduling, payroll, invoicing and HR issues.
I take great pride in my performance by managing with a high-energy positive approach to produce results. By working hands on alongside my staff and providing positive feedback on an ongoing basis I help in providing a positive work environment that is not only great to work in but recognized by my customers and peers by supporting a people first environment.
Customer service is very important to me and it is a large strength of mine. I have increased mystery shop scores in every store I have managed by coaching my associates and setting the expectations for our store. I received an award with Buy-N-Save as most improved customer service score in 2003. I also set up a customer service training program with Yocum Oil and facilitated the training to all managers.
With my experience in fasted pasted environments, I have the ability to think and react fast on my feet. I am dedicated to always making a company better and I enjoy ways of saving them money. I also have experience as a Concierge, in the DC market at Seminary Towers and I would often be used as a substitute at other A-class properties.
